Maptuner General FAQ
Yes, your vehicles can be controlled by both Maptuner Nano and Maptuner X. This will be handled automatically by MyMaptuner during sync.
No, any tuning license can be used by either Maptuner X or Maptuner Nano.
When we are referring to a server, tuning server, or connected library/server, it tells you where your vehicle is connected. A server contains different tuning files depending on the supplier. One vehicle can only be connected to one server, and you have to contact the Maptun team to request a transfer from one server to another.
Sync is short for synchronization. When you perform a sync, your vehicle stays up to date by downloading new files, features, and updates from your connected server to your Maptuner.
If your Maptuner is about the size of a small packet of matches (and features a single button and 2 LEDs), it’s probably a Maptuner from the Nano-series. There are different versions of the Maptuner Nano, which can be identified by a label on the device.
There is currently only one Maptuner featuring a large full-color LCD display, and that is the Maptuner X (TX2A) in regular and loan/hire/rental versions. If the device is black, you have the regular version in hand, and if it’s yellow, it’s the loan/hire/rental version. If your Maptuner doesn’t feature a display, it’s one of the Maptuner Nano-series.
The original Maptuner (also known as Maptuner 1) features a two-row display and three buttons (up, down, and OK). If your Maptuner has a display and buttons, it’s a Maptuner 1.
Both Maptuner X (TX2A) and Maptuner Nano (NX3A) use the “X-connector” (same shape as an HDMI-connector) that can be used in combination with our cabling for different brands. Maptuner Nano (NB3A) uses the BRP connectors that can be used only for BRP.

Maptuner Nano FAQ
Open MyMaptuner App and make sure you are connected to your Nano (if possible). Press Information on the Home Screen and then the button on Report a bug. This will open your web browser and show a form that needs to be filled out. Once the bug report is sent, our developer team will get back to you.
Note: There is a known issue that is resolved from firmware 19 and onwards.
If you experience issues during firmware update, try to unplug your Maptuner Nano for a couple of seconds before plugging it back in. During this time, also restart the MyMaptuner App and reconnect to the Maptuner Nano and sync. If problems still exist, repeat this a couple of times.
If the problem still exists, please proceed with the instructions found here.
However, the storage for tuning files downloaded to the Maptuner Nano is limited. But that is handled automatically and only becomes a limitation if you need to store a large number of files without having an Internet connection. In most cases, the tuning files are stored on your phone and then downloaded to the Nano upon Programming.

SCOM stands for Speed Control Override Module. It removes the factory speed limiter of the vehicle while the RPM limiter remains stock. SCOM is only supported by Sea-Doo watercraft.
Visit www.rivaracing.com to purchase a license code before following our getting-started guide.

Your vehicle’s data will be stored on our server even if you removed it in MyVehicles. Just connect to your vehicle again and perform Add Vehicle, and during the next sync, all necessary files will be downloaded.
Add the vehicle and sync, after that you will be able to perform those functions. If you want to datalog, you will also need to assign a tuning license.
Make sure your license code is written in the following format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. If the problem still exists, contact your dealer.
Make sure the Maptuner is in pairing mode by pressing the button for 2-3 seconds. Maptuner Nano will be in pairing mode for 30 seconds.
